That One Time I Illustrated a Textbook: A Retrospective

It takes a lot of work to create a textbook, it takes even more to create a good one. When I went back to college to finish my industrial design degree I really didn't have any intentions of utilizing my graphic design skills for employment. I prefer making tactile things, however, I am grateful that in November of 2012 I jumped at the chance to work with two brilliant mechanical engineering professors. It was my role to navigate through their different approaches and help them find consensus to illustrate product development concepts. The subject matter was of interest to me and I loved researching other product development and design books.
