When Experiments Go Wrong

My significant other is the kind of person who goes to great lengths to prevent the spine of a book from cracking when it is being read. I'm a bit experimental. We make sure that each of us has our own space because of our conflicting "philosophies." Sometimes my experiments are not always thought out. I'm pretty sure the particles in the thinned down spackle scratched the inside of the balloon and when it popped, the contents went all over. This was a couple of years ago, but I am still finding dried out remnants of my failed experiment on my stuff even now. This is the reason I cover the floor of my room with a tarp and keep my electronics separate. It sure was fun though.
